I've been waiting to do this for a while!

Here is a little photo montage I made Stace for his birthday. It is set to a new Lucid Blue song called "The Letter." Stace wrote it about his mission...as I'm sure you coulda guessed! :)

*The second-to-last photo was the poster for the "Superman Returns" movie. At the bottom, the poster said "Superman Returns May 2006" and that is when Stace got home from his mission!
*The last photo was our first hug after he got released!

Happy Birthday Stace!!!

Today is Stace's birthday! He is a whopping 24 years-old!

Stace is such a good-natured person. He is shy, so it may take a while for someone to get to know him, but once a person does, he or she only has nice things to say about him. One of the best things about him is that he has no idea how great he is! He has such a kind heart and is the most unassuming, non-judgmental and humble person I know. He would never hurt anyone or anything ever. He has so much integrity. And he's just so much fun! :D He always makes me laugh! We tell our young women to date people (and marry a person) who really makes you want to be a better person. Stace does that for me everyday, by simply being who he is.
I want to be like Stace when I grow up:)

So, here's to my wonderful Stace: happy birthday!

Chillin on the couch, blogging away...

Well, I fell asleep at 7:41 tonight and woke up at 10:00...I have a feeling I won't be going to bed any time soon.
Little updates: we saw a matinée showing of Get Smart on Saturday.

Call us silly. Call us immature. But we rarely stopped laughing throughout the entire movie. ahhh...hilarious!
Steve Carrell: we love you.
I finally have time to be in choir now at church. I am no star-singer (that's for dang sure) but I do love to sing and I love how music invites the Spirit so beautifully. Yesterday at church we sang a rendition of "I Stand All Amazed." It was a great experience and actually really fun, too! I think I am gonna stick with this choir thing:)
Last night we went to Stace's parents' house and visited with them, his uncle CF, aunt Elaine, and our awesome friend Renee. We had a great time. Renee and I got to chill and talk which was super. Stace got a good talking-to from CF on career advice. He is so lucky to have his dad and CF to talk to about all this stuff. He has been emailing back and forth with his cousin, Keener, as well. All of them are finance aficionados and they are some very smart (and helpful) men, to say the least. CF had some really good pointers for Stace that we had never considered before. It actually kind of shook Stace's world up a bit, but it's great because it's not too late; Stace still has time to change his plans.
In other news, work was CRAZY busy today! I thrive on the fast-pacedness (I make up my own words). We got an email from Telemundo 51 (a Spanish news station in Miami). Looks like I may be going down to Miami to talk about Florida Prepaid-- in Spanish! whew-- I'm excited...but also nervous! We're going to call them back tomorrow and see exactly what it is they want and when.
Sorry my blogs are always novels. Hope you're still awake...I know I will be for a while!

Here's a few photos to show you what we've been up to lately!

Time Flies!

I cannot believe it has already been a month. I started my job on May 19 and so far it's been great! I was a little nervous about the whole 8-5 Monday through Friday thing, ie: entering "the real world," but I honestly look forward to going to work each day. Everyone in the office is so nice. I am blessed to work there.
Stace's life is being eaten away by a giant monster called calculus 2. This monster is ferocious and does not speak English. Stace fights vigorously to battle the beast. In tales such as these, you and I both know what always happens: the good guy prevails. I have no doubt it will end much the same way in our story. ;)
Stace's web design business is going well! He has been designing away for bands and a record label. You can see what he's been up to at www.myspace.com/finalherodesign.
On May 26, Stace's Aunt Linda passed away suddenly. I know it is often said that when one passes away, he or she is then "glorified" at the funeral. Well, anyone who knew Linda can say with all sincerity of heart that she truly was just that good. Linda is without a doubt one of the sweetest people I have ever known. We love her a lot and will miss her happy smile. She was a great example to all her knew her of being gentle and kind to others and to think of others first. She always did.
Other than what is posted above, we have been celebrating birthdays, weddings and my little sister's graduation. Stace is posting a video above of pictures from what's been going on recently. Enjoy:)
