Need a Little Boost?

I found this video on YouTube just now and thought I would share it with you. It is set to the song that I listened to in the car on the way to the temple the day Stace and I were sealed. I tried to focus on the message of the song amongst all the butterflies (keyword: tried). Listening to it now and watching this video filled my heart, and reminded me of why I'm here. (And also made me tear up a bit at the thought of one day having a little baby girl!)
So take a moment to enjoy and remember
what heaven sees in you!

Yay!

This week my boss and I went around the State of Florida doing radio and TV interviews for Florida Prepaid. It was LOTS of fun and a great experience! Here I am trying on my new suit for size the night before I left:

Why yes, I did just find this $400 suit for $40...yay!
Our first night we were in Fort Lauderdale. It was neat because I have lived in Florida my whole life but have never been there or to Miami. So, it was fun to have a new experience!

Fort Lauderdale
While my boss and I had a lot of fun, I was so excited to see my Stace! I got home and found such a nice surprise! I pulled up to the house and saw festive new additions added to the outside of my home!

Beautiful new flowers in my planters! :

A cute new Halloween flag!:

A Fall wreath and door mat!!!:

And then I went inside and saw a Fall tablecloth and centerpiece and a new Halloween hangey-uppey thing!:

I was SOOOO excited! I have the best mother-in-law/ Halloween fairy in the world! Thank you Mamma E!!! I love you!

Manners of Importance

I really like this article.
One thing I'd add to the list: not to talk while someone else is talking! Because I am no longer a college student, I don't witness this pet peeve of mine unfold very often anymore. Thank goodness! Because it used to drive me NUTS when a group of people were talking/laughing while the professor was trying to give the lecture. The professors, who were indeed quite pleasant individuals, would then "be forced" (if you will) to lay the smack down. It really is all about the golden rule.
I hope this doesn't make me seem uptight...I'm just promoting simple human decency:o) As my husband said (when I asked him if this post makes me seem uptight) "there are just certain manners that can make the world a better place to live in."

Guten Tag!

Biden just said: "...come to Scranton with me."

I'll go to Scranton with anyone if I get to visit Schrute Farm!

yee-haw!

AH! I can't take it!

I have been following the election closely since...oh...I don't know...but it seems like FOREVER. I'm puh-retty sick of it. I've cut back majorly on the time I spend viewing and listening to the buzz around this crazy election because about a month ago my mind's capacity to handle senseless bickering and finger-pointing reached its maximum limit. I'm watching the VP debate now...
My sister-in-law and I both decided that debates stress us out. Perhaps its because I hate confrontation and debates are the ultimate form of confrontation...?

Anyway...can it just be November 5th already?!
